Heavy Rigid (HR) License
TLIC3004 Drive Heavy Rigid Vehicle
Description: Having an HR Licence allows the holder to drive a Heavy Rigid Vehicle – more than 8 tonne Gross Vehicle Mass (no axle limit) with or without a trailer (maximum 9 tonne Gross Vehicle Mass).

HR License Eligibility:
To obtain your HR Heavy Rigid license throughout Western Australia, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a full C class driver’s license for at least two years.
- Or, hold a Light Rigid (LR class) or Medium Rigid (MR class) licence for at least one year.
- Complete an eyesight test as per Department of Transport requirements.

Heavy Combination (HC) License
TLIC3005 Drive Heavy Combination Vehicle
Description: An HC Licence allows the holder to drive prime movers with an attached single semi-trailer or Heavy Rigid (HR class) vehicles with an attached trailer with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) greater than 9,000 kg.
